Sally's Meadow

Location:
This beautiful meadowland lies close to the pretty hamlet of East Burton and is just a short distance from Woolbridge Manor in an area immortalised in Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbevilles. Wareham is 4 miles to the east and the County Town of Dorchester 10 miles to the West.

The Land:

Rights for all services and purposes exist to the land. A further right of way exists to the west up the millstream accessing the land at the north western corner. The land has a mixture of fencing, the millstream and mature hedgerows forming robust boundaries. Whilst Sally’s Meadow is not designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, in the surrounding area The River Frome and associated tributaries are, one which borders the land.
